How to change Windshield Wiper Blades?

Preparation
1. Buy two new wiper blade inserts of the accurate length.
2. See your car's owner manual for any specific information regarding the wiper blades
3. Get a pair of needle nose pliers
4. Now park your car and press the parking brake.
Steps
1. Before you start, keep the vehicle on, engine off and turn on the wipers.
2. You can turn the ignition off, once the blades are in verticle position, so you can have easy access.
3. The parts you'll be generally working with are the wiper arms made of metal and the wiper blade insert, the rubber hand that fits into the wiper arm's grooves.
4. Carefully pull the wiper arms away from the windshield. When your pull is far enough, the wipers will automatically lock into a service position, after which you no longer have to continue holding them.
5. If your wiper's don't lock into a service position automatically, then you have to manually pull out the locking tab at the base of the wiper arm, where the arm connects to the pivot.
6. Start with the wiper arm at the driver's side, turn the blade at an angle from the wiper arm.
7. Now, squeeze the blade's tab/ lock pin at the base of the wiper arm to release the wiper blade. You can take help of needle nose pliers to remove rigid blades.
8. Now slowly slide the blade out to remove it from the arm.
9. Now, attach the new wiper blade to the wiper arm. Squeeze it into place by pulling the tab through the bottom of the arm.
10. When you hear a ticking sound, it's installed.
