The automaker is now concentrating on petrol vehicles. In this attempt, it is launching the Scorpio with a 2.2-litre MPFI engine that would develop 140 BHP of power and 280 Nm of maximum torque.
XUV500 Hybrid – The Fuel-Efficient Car
The automobile giant may launch this vehicle by next year. If it does, we expect it to come with a 2.2-litre mHawk Diesel engine yielding 140 BHP of power and 330 Nm of torque.
XUV Aero – The Stunning Coupe-like SUV
This car would also come with a 2.2-litre mHawk Diesel mill and would accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 6 seconds. This coupe-like car is certainly one of the most-awaited models for the Mahindra followers.
SsangYong Rexton – The lightweight Car
This aggressive and sporty vehicle will hit the Indian roads next year. However, with its alluring looks, the coupe has already made its mark in the Indian automobile industry. Expected to flaunt a 2.0-litre GDi turbo petrol and 2.2-litre, 178bhp diesel engine, the car would come with a host of features, including three-spoke steering wheel with audio & telephone controls, touch-screen infotainment system, and a horde of safety fitments too.
TUV 500 – The Sturdy MPV
Last but not the least, the TUV 500 is Mahindra’s contribution to the MPV segment. Though the prospective buyers would have to wait for one or may be two years for the car to reach the showrooms, but it will be worth the wait. Powered by a 2.2-litre mHawk VGT Diesel mill it is expected to come with a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
