Mahindra is all set to launch its new sub-4 metre Bolero. Christened as the Mahindra Bolero Mini, this vehicle may be seen on the Indian roads by September 2016. With a price tag of about INR 5 Lakhs, this car is said to be 170 mm shorter than its big brother, the Bolero. This car will be the latest addition to the auto manufacturer’s existing line-up of sub-4 metre offerings, which include NuvoSport, KUV100, and TUV300.
Specifications and Performance
Under the hood, the SUV has the same engine as that of the NuvoSport. It is said to deliver a maximum power of 70 bhp and a maximum Torque of 225 Nm. Offering a manual transmission, it comes outfitted with 5 Gears and rear wheel drive. On the performance front, the mini version will render far more fuel efficiency than the regular Bolero. It is anticipated that it will offer a mileage of 17 kmpl on city roads and 21 kmpl in highways. Like other Mahindra offerings, this car will also boast of durability and longevity. Nevertheless, if anyone is in need of Mahindra parts, they can easily avail it from BP Auto Spares India, the country’s most reliable auto parts dealer.
Exteriors & Interiors
As far as the exteriors are concerned, the car bears resemblance with its sibling in terms of wheelbase and the front and rear end appearance. However, the side profile in the new launch will be slightly different. Further, it will have shorter front & rear overhangs and a revamped front bumper. Like the NuvoSport and TUV300, it will offer jump seats in the third row. In the interiors department, it comes equipped with an array of sublime Mahindra parts, including manual air conditioner, front & rear power windows, remote central locking, fabric seat upholstery, and a comfortable seating arrangement for 7 occupants. The dashboard and other interior panels are the same as the regular Bolero. Other features include power steering, audio System with USB/Aux/FM, digital Speedo Console, and Fog lamps.
